COULD YOU FOSTER A DOG EITHER  SHORT/LONG TERM?

The Labrador Lifeline Trust have many dogs in long term foster.  These dogs are in foster for a variety of reasons some are medical, others are just because they are old and infirm and permanent homes are not easy to find.  We do have kind people who will take on these dogs and care for them whilst they undergo treatment, recuperate after surgery or simply just  company, TLC and a warm bed.  Many of these dogs come to the Trust with nothing, not even a collar and  we make sure that they are microchipped and they  are kitted out with collars, leads and bedding, plus of course toys.

All dogs that are fostered are paid for by the Trust, and we are grateful to Pero Petfoods who sponsor some of our long term foster dogs.  Other dogs require special diets and obviously we pay for these and all the veterinary treatment as well. We have a non put down policy at the Trust and no dog is ever put to sleep unless it is on veterinary advice.

Anyone can sponsor one of our dogs for as little or as much as they wish and this can be done in one of three ways. You can either make regular donations through your bank directly to our veterinary account, or you can make a one off annual payment by cheque directly to us or alternatively you can donate through our shop.

Your generosity can make a huge difference to a sponsor dog.
