WOULD YOU LIKE TO FOSTER A DOG EITHER SHORT/LONG TERM?
You would be a half-way house for a rescue Labrador until we have the right home for it. It's hugely worthwhile, keeping that home life continuity and we take care of the food and the vets bills.

The Labrador Lifeline Trust have many dogs in short and long term foster. These dogs are in foster for a variety of reasons some are medical, others are just because they are old and infirm and permanent homes are not easy to find. We do have kind people who will take on these dogs and care for them whilst they undergo treatment, recuperate after surgery or simply just company, TLC and a warm bed. Many of these dogs come to the Trust with nothing, not even a collar and we make sure that they are microchipped and they are kitted out with collars, leads and bedding, plus of course toys.
All dogs that are fostered are paid for by the Trust, and we are grateful to Pero Petfoods and Natural Instinct who sponsor some of our long term foster dogs. Other dogs require special diets and obviously we pay for these and all the veterinary treatment as well. We have a non put down policy at the Trust and no dog is ever put to sleep unless it is on veterinary advice.
Details of our Sponsor a Dog Scheme will be appearing shortly and it is another way that you can help a Labrador in need.
Please contact any of our Area Coordinators or our Administrator for further details.
